Barbara A. Pennell, age 88, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on January 14, 2016.
Barbara was born in Woburn, Massachusetts to the late John Francis and Edith Maude Connolly.
She was a graduate of St. Mary�s High School in Beverly, Massachusetts. After marriage, she moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts and later to Long Island, New York before settling in Lake Worth, Fl. She moved to Vero Beach, after her husband�s death.
She was a member at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Barbara was very family oriented and enjoyed any activity that she could share with her family. She
was seen as the �caretaker� of the family and had a very nurturing personality.
Survivors include sons, Alfred Pennell and Bobby Pennell; daughter, Donna Schantz; four
grandchildren, Caron Schantz, Melissa Margarone, Sarah Traband, and Kyle Pennell; 6 great-grandchildren, Killian Pennell, Quentin Traband, Jackson Robbs, Isabella Traband, Taylor
Margarone, and Payton Margarone.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Herb Pennell and brother, Jack Connolly.
There are no services at this time.
