Ben was my Sgt when I first arrived in Vietnam with first battalion 26th Marines. Just a private. New arrivals were called FNGs I want even say what that means but Benny boy used it often on us. Ben took us under his wing and taught us how to survive. He watched over us like an ole mother hen over her chicks Ben was a good man and fine Marine I would go into war with him again I pray his family can rest in the knowledge of this small testimony of their loved one So so long Ben boy I loved you. Semper fi my brother Glenn Thomas. Sgt Vietnam 1968-69
