Bohdon “Bob” Skalacki, 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Tuesday, January 22 at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born May 28, 1932 in New York City and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1991 coming from Long Island.
Bob worked as a Controller in the Banking Industry.
He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean war and a member of the VFW of Vero Beach.
He is survived by 4 daughters, Mary Beth Higgins and Ann Louise Skalacki of Vero Beach; Julie Ann Skalacki of Long Island, NY and Justine Higgins of Vero Beach; 2 sons, John R. Skalacki and Brendan W. Skalacki of Long Island, NY and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Catherine “Pat” Skalacki in 2012.
At the request of the family a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to a trust account at PNC Bank, 958 20th Place, Vero Beach, FL 32960 for the care of his handicap daughter.
