Brant Cory Raper, age 23, of Vero Beach, passed away July 6, 2021, at Boynton Beach, FL.
He was born in Atlanta, GA and had moved from Cumming, GA to Vero Beach.
Brant was a member of Creekside United Methodist Church, of Cumming.
He had attended Georgia State University.
Survivors include his mother, Lori; father, Brian; stepfather, Ashley, stepbrothers, Matthew, Logan, and Sean; stepsister, Sarah; and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
The family will greet friends from 12:30 – 1 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2021, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1 p.m., at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th St., Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to RECO Intensive/Alcohol & Drug Rehab, 140 NE 4th Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33483, ATTN: Scholarship Fund-In Memory of Brant Raper.

Oh, my heart broke when I heard about Brant’s passing! He was such a sweet little boy when I was his teacher in kindergarten. I am so sorry for your loss! My prayers are being lifted for all of you! My heart is broken for Lori & loved ones because I know the pain is unbearable. God must have needed another Angel. Brant was beautiful inside & out. He will live forever in our ♥️ hearts.

My step nephew Brant was a special young man and a gifted musician. Over the years my family and I have gotten to spend knowing Brant, we came to appreciate his intelligence, talent, and his kind nature. We will miss Brant. I will especially miss his infectious smile. We grieve for Lori and Ashley’s loss. We are praying God’s “peace that passes understanding” to sustain them through this difficult time and into the future. We loved Brant and find comfort in knowing he is now with his Heavenly Father.

My heart is in absolute shambles. Brant was my first love we dated for 6 years. He was my first of so many things. First concerts, first real boyfriend, first time moving into my own apartment. 23 was too soon and there is so many things I could say but I am at a loss of world.

Our hearts are broken for Lori Ashley and their family. Brant was a Beautiful and Kind soul who left us way to soon. I Pray that his soul is at Peace and he will be an Angel watching over his mom, who Loved him with everything she had, and his family. RIP Sweet Boy Carolyn, Josh, Nikki & Jack

We are all heartbroken over Brants passing. Brant was always such a kind and gentle young man. He is no doubt at peace in Heaven. We pray for Lori, Ashely and all of the Josey kids. God bless you all!

Brant- you are an amazing, talented, and kind cousin. We used to have so much fun when we were little, you were one of my best friends as a child. So many fond memories. We haven’t seen each other in a while but have kept up with one another. Christmas was so special to me this year because I got to catch up with you. I love you and miss you cuz.

I remember when I first met Brant, I was so excited to have another cousin. I remember him, my brother, and Matthew wrestling in the backyard of Nana’s house. I’m sorry I didn’t get to see him enough to know him better, but I know him well enough to know he will be missed greatly. I’m praying for the family during this tough time.
