Brenda Joyce Edwards was born on February 9th, 1941 in Day, Florida. Joyce was called to heaven on February 19th, 2018.
She moved to the Vero Beach area as a young child and graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1959. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked selflessly at Florida Baptist Retirement Center until her she retired, in 2001.
She was the beloved mother of 4 children, Marsha Peterson (Kenny), Cynthia Edwards, Jonathan Edwards (Kelly), and Brenda Milliner (Nathan). She found great joy and was a proud Nana to her 7 grandchildren, Chase Strickland, Jessica Peterson, Jacob Martin, Kendall Peterson, Lexi Edwards, Jaci Edwards, and Lily Milliner, and her 1 great grandchild, Ainslee Jo Strickland.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother and step father Mae & Al Bagshaw and her father C.W. Rodgers.
Her family expresses their deep appreciation to everyone who touched Joyce’s life and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on February 23rd at 2:00 pm at Sebastian Christian Church.
