Carl Hefferon, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born July 12, 1929 in Livingston County, MI and moved to Vero Beach 23 years ago, coming from Waterford, Michigan.
Mr. Hefferon was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
He was of Catholic Faith and also a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Vero Beach.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hefferon was predeceased by his wife, Janet Hefferon in 2001.
A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
