Aunt Celeste, you will be deeply missed. You always brought a huge smile to my face and filled my heart with your “my nephew Pat Wayne I love you”. You had a tone in your voice that was truth, simple and direct. I loved your cander, and humor. I enjoyed puzzles and Walker Texas Ranger with you. I will eat a fried chicken back for ya! I love you. Pat-Wayne.

Great Aunt Celeste, Thank you for teaching myself and my children our family tree! Although you always thought i was Grandma Nina’s daughter not granddaughter! I’m been convinced my whole life! But that was the only time I respectfully corrected her! (laugh out loud) Great Aunt Celeste was amazing! She loved telling stories and I love hearing them! In fact, we shared alot of “my firsts” baby/toddler moments together making memories! She told me stories and taught me how to color, play go fish, how to blow out my birthday candles, how to be respectful and mind my manners, she kept me safe (always hold her hand in public and do not take anything from stangers!) I’m going to miss her HUGS and kisses! Oh! her opinions… she was always honest and even as a child I remember getting so tickled when she didn’t like something she would just tell you! Great Aunt Celeste has brought so much joy to my life! Im greatful for the memories we share! I will miss you! ….To our Family Im praying for everyone and sending a virtual Aunt Celeste kinda HUG with a kiss on the check!

Celeste was a beautiful, loving soul who was the most loyal person I’ve ever met. She was a great judge of character. If she loved you, you always knew it and she had a wonderful smile for you. I know the whole family will miss her dearly. God bless you all, you are certainly in my prayers. love, Linda Robertson

Aunt Celeste, there are so many great family memories and you’re in every one of them. I eagerly awaited your attempts to bait me into thinking you forgot my name or the fact that I was your nephew so you could lay down the law and correct me… then provide a comprehensive recap of the family tree and my lowly place on it. Out of all of our aunts, you probably got more hugs and kisses than anyone from me and my cousins… because you always insisted we hadn’t said hello or goodbye to you yet. I wish we could all give you one more, you definitely deserve them. You always held your own and didn’t take crap from your brothers (or anyone else) and that always made me laugh. Also, Jeremy absolutely deserved it when you knocked the hell out of him when he squeezed that stuffed animal and made it sing before you got a chance to. Take care of Grandma until we get a chance to see you guys again. Love you.
