Charles (Charlie) F. McEntee, Jr., 88, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Mount Vernon, NY and Milford, CT, died peacefully on February 7, 2015. Charlie graduated from A.B. Davis High School and served in the US Army. He was a member of the Zoning Board and was Recreational Commissioner in Mount Vernon, NY. Charlie was in the fish business at Oscar J. Abel’s in Mount Vernon and owned The Meyer and Thompson Co. in New York City�s Fulton Fish Market for 35 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Moger McEntee of Vero Beach, FL and Milford, CT, and his beloved step daughters and their families: Stacey (Madison) Wickberg, Meredith (Derek, Naythen) Morin, and Nicole Giordano, all of Vero Beach. Additional survivors are his sister, Elieen Kappy of Hutchinson Island, his son Charles ‘Bud’ (Diane) McEntee of New Rochelle, NY and daughter Susan (Honorable Timothy Dugan) of Shorewood, WI; grandchildren Liz (John) DeCecco, Kathleen McEntee, Charlie (Mary Kate) McEntee, Brigid (Scott) Ingram, and Kaitlin (Chris) Torres; and great grandson John (Johnny) DeCecco.
A celebration of Charlie�s life will be held in the spring.
