Charles R. (Bob) Mills, 79, of Vero Beach died May 20, 2017.
He was born February 26, 1938 in Loogootee, IN and had been a snowbird in Florida since 1993 moving to Vero Beach 5 years ago from Greenwood, IN.
He attended Indiana Central College, Indianapolis, IN.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
Bob retired after 32 years from Allison Gas Turbine Division of GM, Indianapolis Indiana.
He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Loogootee, IN and a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.
Bob is survived by his wife Dianna; Children Marcie Mills and partner Sissy Stowe, Eric Mills and partner Jeff Neese; Brothers, Glenn, Earl and Ed; sisters, Norene, Jean and Alice. He was predeceased by his parents earl and Catherine Mills; brother, Jim; sisters, Eileen, Anna Beatrice, Elma and Anna Regina.
A gathering will be held 4:00-6:00 PM, June 1, 2017 at Blake Funeral Home, 300 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553. A service will be held 10:00 AM, June 2, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church, 408 Church St, Loogootee, IN 47553.
