Chester Stanley Briske, Sr. age 90, passed away on March 15, 2017 in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was born January 22, 1927 in North Hampstead, New York to the late Stanley and Camilla Briske.
Chester enjoyed his many years of work as an aircraft assembler at Gruman Aerospace in Stuart, Florida.
Mr. Briske served in the United States Army during WWII and received an honorable discharge after his service. He was a member of the Albertson Volunteer Fire Department and St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
He was an avid fisherman and taught all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren how to fish and love the outdoors.
Survivors include children, Douglas (Jenny Arzi) Briske; Camilla (Weldon) Wainright; Chester (Cindy) Briske, Jr.; Teresa (Mark) Hansen; and Wayne (Kathy) Briske; twelve grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by wife, Evelyn Briske; brother, Edward Briske; and sister, Stella Modalinski.
