Cody Lee Best, age 44, passed away September 24, 2021 at his home in Sebastian, Florida.
He was born July 10, 1977 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Davi and stepfather, Stephen J. Davi; father, W.E. “Wink” Best and step-mother, Anita Best; siblings, Angela and Michael Dees, Wyndi Wright, Michael Best, Kelly Ann Immoos, Amy Bennett and Amanda Edmond.
He was predeceased by his stepbrother Shawn Michael Davi; paternal grandmother, Pat Cherry; maternal grandparents, Carolyn A Bailey and Cody L. Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, 515 Avenue A, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.

Such a very sad time! I haven’t seen Cody in years but we did speak a couple years ago after I sent him a pic of us from a homecoming we went too! He loved it! Lots of awesome memories! You’ll always mean so much to me! Rest easy Codyboy!

Cody, Chris, Charlie, and I spent a few years being the best of friends, you wouldn’t see one without the others. He affectionately referred to me as lil sis. As time sometimes does, we all kind of grew up and drifted to other places, but Cody would check in every few months or so. He was quite the character and could certainly make you laugh. Love ya big bro, you will be missed.

My heart is aching we had lots of good times and bad times but no regrets!! We haven’t seen each other in years but I’ll never forget those dimples that use to melt my heart!! You were definitely taken way to soon and too young!! You always held a special place in my heart!! No more worries or struggles you are in God’s arms now!! Rest in peace Cody!!!
