David Benson passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, with his children by his side. David was born to Neal and Irene Benson, in 1938. He grew up in Jackson, Minnesota and graduated from Jackson High School, in 1956. David earned a Bachelor�s Degree from Hamline University and then married Beverly Hippe, whom he had met when she was teaching elementary school, in Jackson.
David and Beverly had two children, Kris (Michael) Mattos and Neal (Jill) Benson, and four grandchildren; Ryan and David Mattos, and Jessica and Jake Benson. David worked as a regional sales manager for the Pillsbury Company, and he and his family lived in several major cities, wherever his work took them.
After David�s retirement, he and Beverly spent many happy years at Osage Beach, in Lake of the Ozarks, where they enjoyed boating, fishing and relaxing with their family and friends. They then moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where David resided until his passing.
David was preceded in death by his parents (Neal and Irene), wife (Beverly), brother (Arnold), brother�-in-law (Curtis Hansen), niece (Kathy Hevle) and nephew (Scott Hevle). Mourning David�s passing are his Sister�s and their families; Betty and Lym Hevle, Shirley Hansen, and Carol and Doug Forsyth, as well as David�s step-sister Nancy Sadusky.
