Dellaphine Hilda Thorne, age 85, passed away September 22, 2016 at Consulate Health Care.
She was born January 31, 1931 in Port Jefferson, New York to the late William and Dellaphine Lynch.
Dellaphine moved to Vero Beach in the late 1950’s coming from Stony Brook, New York. After her move, she met John C. Thorne, Jr. and the two were married in 1961.
Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Thorne (Dale) Ledford of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Gillian Ledford of Port St. Lucie, Kevin and Kaitlynn Ledford of Vero Beach; great-grandchildren, Allyson and Dominic Valliere of Port St. Lucie, Dante Ledford-Solis and Riley Mashburn of Vero Beach.
She was predeceased by husband, John C. Thorne, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Myers; and granddaughter, Star Esele.
A gathering will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
