Diane, I will miss you. I remember all our times in high school. We were a bunch. I was so happy when I heard you had married Brian. I loved keeping in touch, even though we never were able to see each other. You were always such a wonderful, caring friend and person. RIP sweet Diane. I’m sure you are happy to be seeing Brian and your parents again. Love Marguerite (Perez) Simmons

Where can I begin, you and your sister June were so important to me in my childhood, our summers, our vacations, playing in grandpa Lopresti’s basement. Badmitten, walking to 7-11 for slurpies, candy necklaces from the store on 251st. We enjoyed our time as young adults as well, you working in manhatten , me at LIJ, living together in the college point duplex. The trimming shows , buying rafts for the pool in Holbrook! I missed you and your sister as you both married and moved on with your lives but those cherished memories will be with me forever . You were brilliant , generous and the heart of your family. I will love you forever dear cousin .

My deepest sympathies to Junie and Diane’s family. My cousin Rosemarie was blessed with a life-long loving relationship with both daughters. Diane is with her Mom and in my prayers. God’s blessing to all of you. Love Barbara Butler (nee: Dugan)
