Donald P. Louis, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born January 16, 1952 in Richland Center, WI to Ferdinand and Hulda (Nelson) Louis. He was a 1970 graduate of Ithaca High School and moved to Vero Beach in 1985. He worked as an Operations Supervisor at Gracewood Fruit Packing, now Indrio Brands, for close to 35 years. In addition to being a devoted husband, father and grandfather, Don was a great friend and coworker to many here in Vero.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tiny Louis; siblings, Jim (Ellen) Louis, Mike (Janet) Louis, Betty Louis and Janie Louis, all of Richland Center, WI; children, Rockette (Mike) Haberlack of Long Beach, NY and David Queen of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Stephen (Jenna), Randy, Brandy, AJ, Alyssa, Mikayla and Lindsey; great grandchildren, Paxton and Paisley. His love and patience was a blessed gift to us all. He is predeceased by his parents and granddaughter, Jessica Haberlack.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Don’s name.
A Celebration of Life is being planned at a later date.

Dear Louis family, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of being Don’s classmate for 11 years at St. Mary’s and then Ithaca. Sadly, I fell out of touch but always thought fondly of Don. I came to Deerfield Beach this week with thoughts of exploring to meet again but it was too little too late.
