Elaine J. Wilson, 84, died peacefully on May 27, 2025 at Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. She was born in Lowell, MA and moved to Lynn, MA as a child, where she lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She was a member of East Baptist Church in Lynn, MA for many years. She was a Pioneer leader which was a leadership program for young girls and actively involved in many aspects of the church.
She retired from NYNEX in 1997 where she worked in both Salem and Boston offices. She moved to Fort Pierce, FL with her husband John, following retirement.
She was also a member of the Red Hat Society for many years in Vero Beach, FL and was very crafty. She enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, and sewing and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Steller and her husband, Brian of FL, Michele Carvell of FL; her son, John E. Wilson III and his wife, Paula of MA; daughter, Gayle Alfrey of FL; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves two nieces, Terri Keene and Kelly Bettger ; three great nephews, one great niece, one great-great niece and a great-great nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Wilson Jr.; her sister, Eleanor Norris; and her nephew,Kevin Norris.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Elaine was my dear friend for 50 years. We had so much fun and many adventures and will be missed but I know she is finally at peace with her Lord and Savior. Praying for the family

My parents, Howard and Lorraine Brown, enjoyed many trips, adventures and fun together with both John and Elaine . Now they re all reunited❤️
