Else Marie Dahl-Aanonsen passed away peacefully on August 24th, 2024 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Born in Bergen, Norway to Arne and Anna Dahl. Else and her family moved to the United States in 1947 following World War II.
In life Else enjoyed raising her two boys, it was her greatest accomplishment. She also loved boating, walking, sewing, photo albums, reading, studying, listening to sacred music, and speaking at lady’s groups. Else also visited the sick and elderly in their homes.
Else was of the Christian faith. In 2005, she was ordained in the Ministry of the Gospel.
She was the co-author of “Receiving Healing and Restoration Through Prayer”, which she wrote with her two sisters. Else edited “The Power of Encouragement” which her husband had written. Else was always proud of her family and had faith in our Lord.
Survivors include her husband Richard G. Aanonsen; Sons Rev. Richard G. Aanonsen II and Randall G. Aanonsen; brother Arnfinn (Nancy) Dahl; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Else was predeceased by her parents; sisters Solveig, Ruth, and Mildred; and brother Frank.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date determined by the family.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
