Elwin Wallace Davis, age 93, of Sebastian, passed away at his home, Saturday, July 25, 2020.
He was born January 31, 1927 in Wakefield, Massachusetts to parents, Lawrence and Ethel Brooks Davis.
Elwin was a United States Navy veteran, having served during WWII.
In 1958, Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Engineering and Management with Honors. In May of 1964, Mr. Davis completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Rollins College, Winter Park, FL.
He had been a Florida resident for many years, living in Orlando, Vero Beach, and the past 25 years in Sebastian.
Mr. Davis retired after 20 years with Piper Aircraft, Vero Beach. He went on to work with Harris Corp., Melbourne, for several years also.
Elwin is survived by his wife of 75 years, Joann; son, Gerald Davis of Sebastian; daughter, Margo Knowles of Melbourne; grandson, Robert Davis of Orlando; granddaughters, Dr. Lynn Johnson of Sebastian, Melanie Marteney of Melbourne, and Heather Spencer of Waynesboro, Virginia; also eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Davis will be terribly missed by his loving family!

I remember Elwyn and his wife, Joann very well from the 1970’s when Elwyn and I worked at Piper. Elwyn was a thorough and dedicated engineer who did a lot of problem solving. Condolences to Joann and their family.
