Florence V. Redstone, age 104, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 surrounded by family at the VNA/Hospice House. Florence was born in Olean, New York on March 30, 1912 and moved to Vero Beach in 1953 with her Husband Paul and her three sons.
In Vero Beach she started her banking career at the First Citrus Bank located at SR 60 and 14th Ave. She continued her career at the bank for thirty plus years, retiring as a bank officer after the Citrus Bank merged with the First Union.
Florence was very dedicated to her family and her church. She led a full life with wonderful friends she made over the years. She was a loving and caring person, a good listener, and always gave good advice.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul G. Redstone, son Paul “Butch” Redstone, son Stephen G. Redstone, and daughter-in-law Joyce Redstone.
She is survived by her son Philip Redstone of Vero Beach and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Redstone of Fort Pierce. She is also survived by eight Grand Children and seven Great Grand Children.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church located at 1750 20th St. Vero Beach, Fl.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Fl 32960.
