My friend Smitty, So many things I can say about Smitty. This was a man who fair and honest. He loved his country. We did not always agree on some matters but always agreed we could voice our opinions and yet hug when finished the day. He had a special gift with dogs. Loved them and liked to teach them tricks. He always hoped for peace for his family, friends and his country. I will miss him but I look forward to seeing him in heaven where I am sure he is busy learning everyone’s name.

I always enjoyed my visits to Vero Beach to visit, and seeing Smitty was always a huge bonus. He was one of the nicest and most genuine people I have met in my lifetime. Always the best conversations, and always ready with a cold beer. I always felt welcome and comfort each time I went to his house. GOD bless you Smitty and thank you for your service to our Country. You will definitely be missed by all. Most definitely one of the bet best people I have known in my lifetime.
