Frances (Fran) Treacy Rausch, age 89, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 17th in Vero Beach, Florida at the VNA hospice house. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Frances and Patrick Treacy, and grew up surrounded by a large loving Irish Catholic family. She married William (Bill) Rausch, a widower with three children: William, Adrienne, and Kevin. They later had two daughters: Kathleen and Georgi.
Fran worked as a secretary in New Jersey and New York City. After marrying Bill, she became a full-time homemaker. Fran and Bill moved to Vero Beach in 1986 and cherished their home in Vero Isles. They had many adventures together before his death in 1993. Fran loved the antiques club and volunteered at many local organizations. She was a graduate of IRCC, a patron of the arts, and a lifelong learner.
Fran is survived by her brother, William Treacy, and all her children. A mass will be given in her honor at St. Helen’s Catholic Church on her birthday next year, November 25th, 2023.

I only knew you for a short time, but you were such an intelligent and strong spirit. I can tell that you raised great daughters so that means you were a good mother. Best wishes to your daughters, and you in heaven.
