It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother, George R. Kiss. George passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, with his son, wife, son, and immediate family by his side.

George served proudly as an altar boy at Holy Cross Church while in middle school. After attending Harrison High, George worked for Harrison Industrial Equipment for approximately 25 years. He retired to raise his son George Jr. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered for Holy Cross Church during the annual Mayfest along with fundraisers for Holy Cross School.

George was the “wind beneath Pam’s wings” and encouraged her when she needed it most. George took this same approach with his son and never stopped believing in him. George boasted about Pam and George’s achievements in life.

In his free time, George loved fishing, hunting, golfing and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. George was a best friend to everyone, treasuring his friendships while offering his unconditional support. George was the life of the party and never let a moment go by without getting in a joke to light up the room. He was a life force making friends wherever he went.

A Mass of Christian Burial in George’s honor will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will also be held in New Jersey on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 91 Home Avenue, Rutherford, New Jersey.

George will be missed by his wife, son, family and friends who are heartbroken by his loss. He will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers forever.

We will miss you so much, George. We loved all your humor and loved you doing our bingo. It was so much fun. You are much too young to leave us and we will never forget you. Again, can’t tell you how much we love you and going to miss you love, Dale and Tom.
