Geraldine V. Oates, age 91, passed away in Hawaii, surrounded by her loving family.
Geraldine was born in Portland, Maine and has been a 35 year resident of Vero Beach, coming from New Jersey.
Mrs. Oates served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Geraldine enjoyed many crafts, including crochet. She was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed spending her time with family.
She is survived by children, Ann Dailey, Patrick Oates, and Donna Kashimoto; grandchildren, Brandi, Kristi, Jennifer, Kimi, Kayla, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Connor, Christian, Ariana, Kadence, Zach, Rafe, and Trey; great-great-grandchildren, Ethan.
She was predeceased by husband, Bob Oates; sister, Cecila Burkill; brother, Gregory Reilly.
There will be a graveside service held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 22, 2016 at Crestlawn Cemetery, 1216 14th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
