Gertrude “Trude” S. Bouton, age 78, passed away June 7, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
She was born in Stuttgart, Germany to the late Friedrech Wilhelm and Gertrude Lepek.
She is survived by her son, Jay Bouton and her life partner, Ron Kenderian.
A Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Dear Ron, this is from the whole Neurology Dept at Cleveland Clinic The Old Indian river Hospital, Trude always put a smile on ALL of our Hearts and will always miss her SMILE. I still have the Cross she gave me and will cherish it everyday. I am so grateful to God for allowing me to take care of her over the years. Praying for you and her son. What a beautiful picture of Trude! It was a real blessing to get to help care for Trude the last few months of her earthly life. Trude was such a strong & caring person. I will forever think of her when I see or hear a Mocking Bird! If I have a rough day, I’ll stop and think what Trude Went through & how she didn’t give up. I’m thinking she’s now dancing & enjoying being pain free as she praises her Creator in Eternity! Prayers for her Ron, the love that I witness between the two of them was incredibly. My prayer is that Jesus will comfort Ron, Jay, all her family, her friends, & her loyal dog as she has moves on to Heaven. May they remember all the wonderful memories of Trude until we all meet again in the big reunion in Heaven.

Trude has the most beautiful soul. I know this because it continues to carry me on my rough days. She always knew what to say and had the purest heart. Taking care of Trude was an absolute pleasure. I will always cherish all our memories together. Ron, Jay, and Kimmie, I know Trude absolutely adored all of you. Wishing you infinite love during this difficult. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Trude was an amazing woman both personally and professionally. Her strength was those of legends. One item not mentioned for some odd reason, is that Trude had two children. I mention this as Trude’s strength was not forgotten on me. Our journey was never easy as in she came to this Country with me in her womb and less than $5 in her pocket. Yet, she conquered so much before many women even knew they too could have the power to move mountains. Mom, I may not have been raised by you but you will be with me forever. Your guidance to me both professionally and personally as a woman helped me to become the strong, independent woman I am today. To you, I am thankful for your genetics, your grace and your substance. You, my friend, I am so very proud of you. You will always remain an inspiration to me. Your daughter, Christine
