Gregory Parker Merrill, Sr., age 95, died April 7, 2021 at Indian River Estates, Vero Beach, Florida. He was born in White Plains, New York and lived in Vero Beach, Florida coming from Little Compton, Rhode Island.
He served in the United States Army.
Greg was employed by J.C. Penney as a Retail Manager and retired from the New York City office.
He was a member of Christ Church, Vero Beach.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Bridge Club and volunteered at Habitat for Humanity.
Greg enjoyed the game of golf and was a member of The Moorings Golf & Country Club, Vero Beach.
He is survived by sons; Gregory Jr., David, and John; stepdaughter, Susan; stepsons, Steven, and Stuart; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Brownell Merrill and second wife, Jean Stuart Merrill.
Memorial contributions in his name, may be made to Indian River Habitat for Humanity, 4568 N US Hwy 1, Vero Beach, Florida 32967.
