Harold Lee Hayhurst, 72 years of age, passed away peacefully at home on September 10th, 2025, in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was born in Bronx, New York to Harold and Greta Hayhurst.
Harold graduated from Newton High School in Newton, New Jersey. After high school Harold enlisted into the United States Navy. He served during the Vietnam War from 1971-1975 as a Machinist Mate. After his military career, Harold became an electrician and worked in both Virginia and California before moving to Florida.
In his youth, Harold had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed being on the open road.
He was a believer in Yahshua as his Messiah.
Harold leaves behind his sister Valerie Mangeot (Mark), brother William Hayhurst, several nieces & nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s in Harold’s name.

Lee was a true friend who was loved by so many he touched in Bible study. A man who didn’t let his illness hold him down. Always reciprocating beyond required. We will miss him. We know he is at peace with the Lord

I just heard of Lee’s passing. I attended Bible study with him at Rio and really enjoyed his input and marveled at his ability to persevere through hard times. He is so missed.
