Iris Brown Hodge, age 87, passed away April 15, 2025, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida.
She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Vero Beach in the early 1970’s.
She was a member of First Methodist Church in Vero Beach, Florida.
Iris had a love for children and enjoyed her many years of work as the Administrative Attendance Secretary at Gifford Middle School.
Survivors include her husband, William B. Hodge, Sr.; daughter, Victoria Hodge Bass (David); son, William B. Hodge, Jr.; extended family, Carey M. Hodge and Sophia Reyes; grandchildren, Hunter Russell Wynn (Danielle), William B. Hodge, III (Alissa), Bryce Edward Bass, Mason Bass Bird (Trevor), Reid William Bass (Allie), and Kerry Dylan Reyes; great-grandchildren, Emory Taylor Wynn and Paisley Russell Wynn; brother-in-law, Arthur W. Hodge; sister-in-laws, Brenda H. Hodge and Judy E. Hodge; along with many loved nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Roy Russell Brown and Iris Corum Brown, she was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Marie Hodge; granddaughter, Taylor Lauren Wynn; father and mother-in-law, Arthur W. Hodge, Sr. and Mary B. Hodge; brother-in-law, Thomas A. Hodge.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
