James A. Hearn, IV age 60, passed away December 2, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
Jimmie was born February 4, 1964, in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late James A. and Avie (Jenkins) Hearn, III.
He was a graduate of Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, Florida and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Jimmie was a lifetime entrepreneur and philanthropist, working closely with the homeless.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Butler and sister, Aida D. Rojas Antheur.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Avie Marie Starrat.
A Celebration of Life will be held 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2026, at Humiston Beach Park, 3000 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach, FL 32963.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bonnie Butler, 656 9th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32962.

I love you Jimmie and I cannot even put into words how much you are loved and how much you will be missed.You are my heart and soul. Not a day goes by that I wish I had my understanding, caring, gentle, sweet soul ,bestfreind and loving husband to just hug and hold. Until our souls connect again know that you are so loved. Jimmy, you are one of the few ppl i cAn truly call a real friend. The type of friend that you call for help at any hr and they’re there no questions. Were a dieing breed and you are truly missed. The world lost another good one. Well miss you bud!!!
