Jane Meeker Stiastny, age 90, loving mom and wife, passed away March 7, 2016.
She was born in Orange, New Jersey, and grew up in Maplewood, NJ.
Mrs. Stiastny had attended Temple University and worked as a dental assistant in NJ.
She was a member of the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club.
Mrs. Stiastny lived in Vero Beach since 1981, coming from Chatham, NJ.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Schooler and her son, Chuck Stiastny; granddaughters, Jenni Forsstrom and Michelle Schooler and great-grandchildren, Zoe and Alex Forsstrom.
Mrs. Stiastny was predeceased by her husband, Robert Stiastny and sister, Pat Sadeik.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
