The love of my life, Jerry, has left me all alone. I am a lost person. For 47 years we were always together no matter what was going on. I have the best memories ever, but I miss you more than words can say. I want to hold you again and tell you “I love you”. You were the best husband and always will be.

If I could tell a story, it would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving father who had a heart of gold. I’m hurt but I’m not sad for you, you are free to serve, in doing what you love to do as promised in the word, to spend your days in glory without the pain, the fear and strife. You’ve moved on and shed all old regrets that may have haunted your old life. I can’t wait to rest beside you, in the house God built for you, we can share our stories from the past and start our lives anew, We’ll have our day together Dad to spend just you and me, til then please let our father know to treat you tenderly. All my Love Dad, Jo.

My Dad who was there the day I was born and never left! One fond memory when everything fell apart he used to place a loving short note on a napkin in my lunch bag. I wish I had those napkins today and more time. He did say , “you have to be strong because I won’t always be here to hold your hand!” Time to be strong. Families are important!
