Jerry Joe Schick, age 80, passed away December 29, 2016 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Roy and Blanche Schick. He has been a resident of Vero Beach, Florida since 1947.
Mr. Schick served in the United States Army.
Mr. Schick was employed Piper Aircraft Corporation as an Experimental Technician for 30 years. He then joined the Security Staff at Indian River Medical Center for ten years before retiring in 2001.
Jerry was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, class of 1955 and then attended University of Florida.
Survivors include sister in law, Mary Frances Schick; nieces, Lori Schick Kavanagh and Sharon Schick Card; nephew, David Schick.
He was predeceased by wife, Gwen Schick and brother, Roy P. Schick, Jr.
At the request of Mr. Schick, remembrance and burial will be private.
