Jessica Louise Thompson, born on July 1st, 1983 in Vero Beach, Florida to Christine Lyford and the late Roger Pringle, passed away at the age of 35 on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the VNA Hospice House.
Jessica graduated Vero Beach High School in 2001 and went on to Indian River Community College to further her education in Childhood Education & Development. She was a member of her high school chorus and traveled to the Vatican in Italy which remained her favorite high school memory.
During and immediately after high school she worked at the Academy Thrift Store where she met the love of her life Brandon who she later married. She has spent the last 13 years working for Bridges Early Learning Center and for the last few years she became their Assistant Director.
She was an active volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Kristina Conn Foundation, which was created in memory of her niece.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Brandon Thompson; daughter, Tamiya Thompson; stepson, Elijah Thompson; mother and stepfather, Christine and Lawrence Lyford of Vero Beach; six sisters, Rose (Roger) Tenbrink of VA, Rhonda (Marco) Pringle of NY, Shannon (Keith) Conn of Vero Beach, Kim (John) Heath of Vero Beach and Deni Willard of Sebastian and Courtne (Cornelius) Gamble of TN; two brothers, Kevin (Rhea) Pringle of TX and Greg (Anne) Pringle of MD; in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. James Nelson and Thomas Thompson; many nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who are more like family.
Jessica was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She will be forever missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1590 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
