On June 28th 2025, Jo Marie Melchiori joined her husband and best friend Gene, back on the first tee once again. Jo was a devout Catholic believing in a helping hand for all, especially the youth and less fortunate, a value she endeavored to pass on to the next generations.. An avid reader and “techie”, her kindle and computer were never far from hand. From ordering groceries to helping her grandkids with their taxes, she embraced the technological changes someone from her generation would never have imagined. In addition, Jo always enjoyed spirited discussions over a glass of wine with family and friends. Jo was predeceased by her husband Gene, parents John and Anna Broslavick,, five brothers and one sister. Jo leaves behind a sister Alice (Walter) Baehr, four children, Tomye (Ron) Daly, Steve (Holly) Melchiori, Chuck (Jan) Melchiori and Rick (Nancy) Melchiori. She also leaves seven grandchildren Andrew (Jennifer) Daly, Kate (Jeromie) Ortiz, Nick (Britney) Melchiori, Matt (Kala) Melchiori, Whitney (Chris) Vishey, Bryce (Fiancé Rachel Fricke) Melchiori, Christopher Melchiori and nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services for Jo will be held at St. John of the Cross in Vero Beach, Florida in February. In lieu of flowers, you may choose to contribute to your local food bank, children’s charity or a scholarship fund for Norway Vulcan High School graduating seniors.
