It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John K. Hoffman. John passed away on July 5th, 2025, in Vero Beach, FL at the age of 63.
John was born in Brooklyn, New York to John & Evelyn Hoffman. He resided in both Long Island, NY and New Hampshire before settling in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born Christian and raised in the Catholic faith. John was known as a ‘Jack of all trades’ and enjoyed golfing, craftsmanship, and the Grateful Dead. Johns comedic sense of humor lit up the room.
Survivors include his children John K. Hoffman Jr., Joshua Hoffman, and Krystle Linnane (Joshua); father John Herbert Hoffman; brother Christopher Hoffman (Christine); sisters Susan DeCoste and Deborah Hoffman; grandchildren McKenna Linnane, Riley Linnane, Thomas J. Hoffman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends all over.
John was predeceased by his loving mother Evelyn A. Hoffman and brother-in-law John DeCoste.
Please join us as we Celebrate John’s Life on Friday, July 11th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.

Losing my fellow black sheep has made me realize how quickly life can change. John, I enjoyed our conversations catching up on our lives.
