Joyce (Mauldin) Redstone, 74 , of Vero Beach, Florida, went home to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 24, 2015.
She was born December 31, 1940 in New Albany, Mississippi to Jack and Anna Lee Mauldin.
Joyce graduated from Mississippi State College for Women and taught school for more than 30 years between Alabama and Florida.
She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was an active member in the community volunteering and having been a member of many service clubs.
Her passion was teaching children. She always had a smile on her face. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Redstone of 53 years, her father Jack Mauldin, mother Anna Lee Mauldin, sister Peggy Watson and brother Jerry Mauldin.
Survivors include sons, Michael (Beth) Redstone and Alan (Beverly) Redstone, daughter Terri Redstone, grand-daughters, Chloe Redstone, Caitlyn Redstone and Ali Redstone.
A service celebrating her life we held at the First United Methodist Church (1750 20th Street) at 1:00p Friday March 13th, 2015.
