Kara Diane Darrell, age 50, passed away August 11, 2025 at her home in Vero Beach.
She was born August 18, 1974 in Lancaster, Ohio and was a graduate Sandalwood High School, class of 1992 and Indian River State College, class of 2021.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; sons, Prestin and Jonathan; mom, Cathy; father, John (Shelley); siblings, Lindsey, Derek, Casey, and Zack; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Jordan and nephew, Zane.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Vero Beach Church of Christ, 3306 20th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

My heart is heavy with the loss of my dear friend Kara. She was truly one of a kind, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared and the memories we made. While I will miss her deeply, I find comfort knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. Her love and light will never be forgotten.

For Jonathon, Preston, Ray and all of Kara’s precious family and friends whom she cherished so much. I hope that you find peace and strength during this difficult time. Especially since you know she would want everyone to know she is free and radiant with her beautiful angel Jordan.

Kara, you will be truly missed , We met at age 14 in High School you were my friend always caring, loving and kept the class of 1992 together thru out the years as we grew into adults, My heart is heavy and prayers for your family and may you watch down from heaven and You will never be forgotten anyone who knew you was truly blessed to call you friends.
