Karen Jean McLean was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Karen passed away on July 11, 2022 at the age of 67 years.
She was born to Donald Jack and Jessie Marie Hayes on February 23, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from Lake Worth High School, Karen met her husband, Thomas McLean. Together, they had 3 children: Brandon, Ryan, and Kara.

She also held a variety of jobs to contribute financially. She worked at a local deli, drove a school bus, and also worked at an elementary school as an attendance clerk in Palm Beach County.
When her husband Tom suddenly passed in 2005, Karen courageously continued in her roles as grandmother and mother. She enjoyed baking cookies and special treats for her grandchildren and spending time with her children and her beloved dog Tucker.
