Karen Michele Czysz, 68, of Vero Beach, received an early call to come home on April 29th 2017.
She spent her final days surrounded by her husband, the love of her life, James Czysz, sons Michael (Heather) Harp and Brendon (Melissa) Harp, grandchildren Oliver Winters Harp and Madison Jane Harp, and brother Brian (Maureen) Hill, and the wonderful doctors and nurses at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL.
Karen dedicated her life to bringing joy and happiness to everyone she came in contact with. Her positive upbeat energy was infectious and undeniable to anyone who knew her. After retiring from teaching for 34 years in the Jamestown (NY) School District, she moved to Vero Beach in 2004 where she wasted no time making a beautiful home with Jim. There they would entertain countless old friends and family and, of course, the many new friends Karen so easily made in her retirement. Her greatest joy in life was making people feel loved and cared for no matter where she went. She especially loved being with family and was most happy when she was with her two grandbabies, Oliver and Madison. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third, Zoey Michele Harp.
She is also survived by her brother Timothy (Lynn) Hill, and stepchildren, Michele Porterfield, Timothy (Jodelle) Czysz, and Jennifer (Brett) Christy and their children Reed Porterfield, Megan and Katie Czysz, and Hannah and Alex Christy. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Fredonia, NY.
