Kathryn C. “Nanny” Faxon, age 87, passed away August 24, 2018 at VNA Hospice House.
She was born August 1, 1931 in Teaneck, New Jersey to the late Leroy and Adelaide Treat and has been a Vero Beach resident since 1959.
Kathryn worked for Piper Aircraft for many years, retiring at the age of 60.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and watching old movies. She loved collecting trinkets from her travels and her favorite movies on VHS tapes.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie (Ruben) Rivera; grandchildren, Christine (Mike) LaPlant and Michael (Helen) Wood; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Shai, Guy and Ben.
She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Carl Faxon.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 9th, 2018 at Debbie’s home. Please contact the family for details.
