Joseph ..in the short time that you and Kayleigh had together your love for one another was far greater than most .. Knowing Kayleigh is “Safely Home” hopefully that can give you some comfort. As she takes her place in the heavens of everlasting love, she will remain in the Lords arms and she will forever be carried in our hearts. Dear Kayleigh, you were the most enthusiastic student in the garden club. You encourage your friends to come, work, and have fun. You will be the person to take charge of all activities. You show strength when pulling roots, burrowing dirt, picking up mulches, and building the plant boxes which have your name on one of the boxes. As supervisor of the after-school garden club, thank you for your generosity and for the loving kindness that you share with everyone. Kayleigh was a beautiful young lady inside and out. I will treasure the memories I had being around her. To the parents, grandparents and family, what you lost you can never get back. But you have beautiful memories of your time with her. Keep your love ones close, we never know how much time we have with them.

Words cannot begin to express the loss of the beautiful young child. I am so honored and proud to have known and taught Kayleigh for the past two years. She has always been a shining star — eager to learn and help others, curious, engaging, funny, witty, charismatic, and an absolute joy to talk to. I will always recall her with love and fondness. She enriched my life in the brief period of time that I knew her and I only wish that we all had the opportunity to watch her continue to grow and blossom. She will be missed by so many people that she had a positive influence on. Carry her memory forward in kinds thoughts and deeds.

Kayleigh, it was an honor to be your school counselor the last two years at Gifford Middle School. Your smile and loving way toward students and staff were very refreshing. I will miss our morning check in as we always put a smile in each other’s face as we go on with our day. You will be missed, but your love for others will forever be in our heart. We will continue to cherish the time we had together with you at Gifford Middle School.

We have had the privilege of being called aunt and uncle to Kayleigh since she was 19 months old when Kevin and Brittany got married. Since then, we have enjoyed watching Kayleigh grow into the talented, fun-loving, well-rounded, and beautiful young lady we have all loved so much. We have witnessed the grief of her parents over the last 4 heart-rending months as they combed through traditional, natural and trial medical treatment options with hopeful and prayerful hearts that they would find the cure to this incurable tumor. We’re heartbroken over the loss of our niece, and we’re heartbroken for her parents and sisters who have been robbed of a full life with their precious daughter and sister. We are so sorry for all you have gone through, are going through, and will go through. We love you guys!

Our family is devastated and heartbroken by Kayleigh’s passing . Kayleigh was so bright, active and loving. She was so talented and friendly to everyone. Truly a credit to her wonderful parents Brittany and Kevin. I hope you both feel somewhat comforted in knowing that you couldn’t have been more caring and supporting parents. We love Kayleigh and the girls so much.

The world has lost a beautiful soul but heaven is rocking out a party welcoming such an angel. She will be missed greatly. Aubrey just loved her and spending time at the GMS Band Car Wash. As a father of a 6th grade little girl, I couldn’t imagine losing a child at any age but especially at 13. You were an amazing brave girl. You fought till the end and never gave up ( my new motto ). You showed me the kind of person i want to be, is why I adopted that motto. You were also inspiring and touched so many hearts by you just being you. We will all miss you. You will always be in our prayers and hearts. May peace be with you and may you rest in eternal peace.
