Kelly Getman, age 45, passed away May 27, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Syracuse, New York on April 21, 1977 to the late William “Bill” and Louise Getman.
Kelly was a proud graduate of Indian River Adult Education, class of 2010.
Kelly enjoyed spending time with her daughters. She enjoyed the beach and walking the boardwalk at Jaycee Beach Park. She enjoyed volunteering with habitat for humanity and toys for tots. Kelly had a giving heart and was always willing to help those in need.
Survivors include her daughters, Hallie and Hanna Ruszczyk; Aunt Bev; brothers, Gary (Debbie) Getman, Steve Getman, and Dale Getman; step-children, Kayla Ruszczyk and Kris Ruszczyk; grandchildren, Kody, Alianna, Anthony, and KJ, lifelong friends, Mac, Dorrie and Chuck, along with MANY other loving friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Jaycee Beach Park, 4200 Ocean Dr, Vero Beach, FL 32963. A Candlelight Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family at 1670 22nd Avenue SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962.
As Kelly would fondly say, “I love you all the way past Heaven.”
