Kenny Ritchey, 26, of Sebastian, Florida passed unexpectedly in a vehicle accident Friday, March 8, 2019 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on March 21, 1992, Kenny graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 2010. He was currently an employee for IGM at Sebastian Municipal Golf Course.
Kenny is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Melinda (Mindy) Ritchey and his sister, Sierra Ritchey. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Courtney Coppola as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teammates.
Kenny was a devoted son, brother, and boyfriend. He enjoyed golfing and playing softball any chance he had. When Kenny was not on the softball field, he enjoyed the Florida sun at the beach, being surrounded by family and friends, and assistant coaching Storm Grove Middle School’s girls’ softball team. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and all things sports. Kenny’s pure, kind, big heart was a breath of fresh air for all who crossed paths with him.
A Gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home at 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL to honor his passing.
