After fighting a long, hard battle to recover from a car accident in July of 2014, Lael went home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 19, 2015.
She was born July 9, 1932, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY, to Jean and Merle Babcock.
Mrs. Blair was a 41 year resident of Vero Beach, coming from Brentwood, Long Island.
She had worked in retail sales with DuBose Jewelers, Vero Beach.
Mrs. Blair is survived by her sister, Valerie Krueger of Port St. Lucie; sons, Scott Blair and Ken Rose of Vero Beach; daughter, Lori (John) Lacy of Tampa; granddaughters, Dr. Jessica Lacy of Boston and Sarah Lacy of Naples; and nephew, Doug Krueger of Port St. Lucie.
Mrs. Blair was predeceased by her husband, Walter Blair.
An inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, on April 3, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to VNA Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.
