Laurette Ann Lane took her last breath on March 11, 2023, to join her husband Alfred and son Patrick in heaven. She would have been 97 on March 21st.
Laurette loved to travel which included cruises, Europe and going back home to Canada where she was born in Quebec. She enjoyed Art and crafts shows and frequent trips to St. Augustine to purchase art and where she met Thomas Kinkade. Going to numerous Broadway theatre shows and seeing her grandson perform were always memorable. Until just a few years ago, she always enjoyed working in her garden and playing Bingo numerous times a week. Trips to the arcade, movies and miniature golf with her grandchildren were always at the top of her list.
She is survived by her remaining children, Kathleen Douse(Donald), Carolyn Melton(Randall), Richard Lane, Nancy Marciniak(Edward) and Lori Lane. She had 12 grandchildren; Kyle, Kourtney, Lydia, Randall, Ricky, Nicholas, Katelyn, Nicole, Amanda, Kevin, Kirsten and Kandace. Eleven great grandchildren; Zackary, Kristin, Savannah, Gannon, Tyler, Owen, Mikey, Tucker, Cameron, Amelia and coming soon Benjamin. Always gracious to help someone in need, there to listen and lots of love to share.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen’s Catholic Church on March 18th, 2023 beginning at 12:00 pm.
As a Catholic she believed in charity and in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude’s’ Hospital.
