Linda Mae Wethington Brown, age 76, was received in her eternal heavenly home on April 14th, 2024.
She was born in Paris, Kentucky and resided in Vero Beach, Florida.
Linda received a bachelor’s degree from Indian River State College. She retired from the Florida Department of Corrections- Probation & Parole.
Survivors include her loving husband Richard A. Brown; son James W. Slusher Jr. (Peggy); daughter Michelle Slusher Parker; sisters Diana S. Stokley, Kathy Starner (Gary); grandchildren Ronald R. Parker, Heidi A. Phoenix, James W. Parker, and Timothy Parker; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father John A. Wethington, mother Rachel E. Hager, James A. Wethington, Delores F. Ward, John V. Wethington, Debra L. Kirkman, Sandra K. Carter, and Bill W. Wethington.
A graveside service will be held on April 22nd, 2024 at 11:00am, at Fernhill Cemetery in Stuart, Fl.
