It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois E. Savage, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lois was born on January 8th, 1930 in New Bedford, MA., the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Morse. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William (Bill) D. Savage. She was a longtime resident of Acushnet, MA. and Fort Lauderdale, FL. and most recently Vero Beach, FL.

She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless energy, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her. She is survived by her three daughters, Gayle Savage–Rossi (Richard) of Vero Beach FL., Dawn Ashley of Westmore VT., and Betty Costa (John) of Dartmouth MA. Also survived by her six grandchildren; Victoria Rossi–Rodriguez, Alexandra Myers, Myles Shangraw, Shawn Devaney, Amber Alvarado and Thomas Costa and several great grandchildren.

Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the indomitable spirit she embodied.

At the families request, funeral services are being held privately.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Accept my heart felt condolences at Lois’ passing. I worked with her when I taught at Ford Junior High. We became friends. Lois and her friend Millie Connor gave me a bridal shower. Lois was a wonderful friend whom I think of quite often. Note to Betty: sending you prayers and hugs at this difficult time. May God bring you and your sisters comfort, consolation and strength at this time. Love, Barbara
