Lois Joyce Kennedy Calahan, age 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 28, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Vero Beach from her birthplace.
Lois was a very active member of First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach; where she was a volunteer for numerous outside missions.
Survivors include her sons, Michael (Joan), Timothy (Becky), Dennis (Peggie) and Corey (Lisa); daughters, Patricia (Michael) and Peggy (Jeff); 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Lois was predeceased by her husband, C. L. “Bud” Calahan, parents, Gladys & Lynn Kennedy, and brother, Gene Kennedy.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at First United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions in honor of Lois, may be made to First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry, 1750 20th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
