Madeline Agnes Lenz, age 76, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2019.
She was born Madeline Agnes Sambataro in Staten Island, New York, the youngest of four children and the only daughter.
She married her husband, William, in 1966 and they had two daughter’s, Lisa and Tara.
In 1979 they moved from New York to Vero Beach and shortly thereafer they started a successful and reputable window treatment business called The Shade Shop where initially she was the decorator and William was the installer. As the business grew she could focus more on her family and that is where she excelled. Madeline loved to entertain at their home and holidays were her favorite, especially when she could spend time with her three grandchildren Stephanie, Madison, and Luke.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach ever since they arrived.
She is survived by her husband, William, of 52 years, her daughters, Lisa Crites and Tara Tucker, her son-in-laws Steven Crites and Darryl Tucker, and her three grandchildren, Stephanie Crites, Madison Tucker, and Luke Tucker.
She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Theresa Sambataro, and her brothers Salvatore, Louis, and Carl Jr.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
