Marilyn Delfs, born July 4th 1940, in Falls River Massachusetts, died January 21st 2015 peacefully at home, with her husband, 2 of 4 children 2 of 5 grandchildren and 2 of 7 great grandchildren surrounding her.
After high school Marilyn and family moved to Vero Beach from St. Petersburg in 1960, spending the first 20 years entirely devoted to family and friends.
During the 1980s, she returned to school upon graduation opening the County Clipper Beauty Salon that she owned and operated for 25 years.
Marilyn was an active volunteer in her community, whether assisting her clients or with nursing duties in her children’s elementary school.
She was also proud of her associations with the Treasure Coast Pilot Club making it all the way to president one year serving with distinctive honors.
Marilyn is survived by husband of 58 years Gunther, children Linda-Sue, Lorrie Elisabeth, Karl Gustave and Erich Anton.
Grandchildren, Nikolas, Elizabeth, Britney, Kelsey and Jessica.
Great-grandchildren, Blake, Miles, Ben, Madilyn, Colin, Ronald and Owen.
She was predeceased by her sister June, brother Ronnie, grandson Erich along with her parent and grandparents.
No services will be held at this time.
