Marion Katherine (Doyer) St. Martin, 90, of Vero Beach, FL, died February 14, 2020 at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. She was the widow of Norbert St. Martin who died in 2008.

Marion was born December 6, 1929 in Stamford, CT, the daughter of the late Marsahll L. Doyer Sr. and Jennie P. (Stevens) Doyer. She was a graduate of East Harford High School Class of 1948 and was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Harford, CT, for 39 years.

Marion married her best friend and soulmate, Norbert “Norby” St. Martin, on October 3, 1969 in Storrs, CT. They retired to Heritage Plantation, Vero Beach, in 1988, where they enjoyed their passion for playing golf and bowling. Marion enjoyed part time work as a waitress at “Friars” Breakfast where she made many friends.

Marion was predeceased by her siblings, Dorthy, Marshall Jr., Margaret, David, and stepson, Jay St. Martin.

She is survived by her stepsons, Jeffrey (Joanne) St. Martin of Columbia, CT and James (Lisa) St. Martin of Vero Beach; granddaughter, Jessie (Ben) Cuiffo; three grandsons, Christopher (Lindsey), Benjamin (Allyson) and Matthew St. Martin; and three great-grandchildren, Lucas Cuiffo and Sloane & Harper St. Martin. Marion is also survived by her sister, Jeanette (Ron) Garboski of Cromwell, CT; nieces, Lana, Rhonda, and Brenda Garboski; nephew, Everett “Skip” (Lois) Gilman of Hampstead, NH; also dear friends: Sandy Shield, Sue & George Wolford, Phyllis Uccello, and Barbara & Ernie Merbler.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association FL Affiliates, 9900 Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, in memory of Martion St. Martin.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held 3 – 5 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th St., Vero Beach.

A memorial service to be held in Connecticut will be announced at a later date.
